Capper Trading Ltd under the leadership of its founder and current Managing Director, Robert Capper has long been identified with providing bulk feed transportation services to the agricultural industry, operating over 40 LGV's throughout the UK Ireland. The vision and intuitiveness of Robert and his team has enabled the Company to successfully expand and diversify into other services i.e. manufacture of animal feeds and animal bedding. The fuels division is also one of the principal solid fuel importers/merchants in Ireland and is complimented by also supplying home heating oil and agriculture diesel. Capper Trading Ltd also boasts of operating a poultry farm and a beef research and development centre.

Capper Trading Ltd, under the leadership of its founder and current Managing Director, Robert Capper has long been identified by manufacturing and transporting high quality coarse & complete ruminant feeds throughout Ireland. At our Tamnamore site, located at Junction 14 on the M1, we are ideally located for easy customer collections and delivery of feeds. In 2016 we invested in a new state of the art feed mill which enables us to manufacture consistent high quality ruminant feeds more efficiently. Here at Capper Trading we strive for excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
Capper Trading have been importing coal since 1980. Starting by importing Scottish coal and then Polish Coal. At present, Capper Trading is one of the biggest importers of the world’s best washed, high heat, low ash Columbian coal. Dealing directly with coal mines ensures complete quality control and competitive prices. Once the boat has been docked in Belfast Harbour the coal is then hauled to the Tamnamore depot where it is further processed to reduce smaller fraction and is bagged. During 1998, Capper Trading moved towards serving the general public and creating a retail space for our customers to buy their products directly from the Tamnamore depot. The coal is bagged into 25kg and 50kg bags and stacked conveniently into purposely built sheds which will help the coal to remain dry until purchased.The coal bags are regularly check-weighed to comply with weights and measures ensuring you always get the correct weight.
