Please note: the actual dimension of the grate may be less than the fire opening classification. For example, the 16” stool grate only measures 14 ½”, this is because it needs to fit within the 16” fire opening and allow for some expansion when hot. This is generally the rule of thumb for all fire grates, we have supplied the exact measurements of the grates on the product page.
