Premium Doubles are smaller pieces of the highest grade of coal we supply. It is suitable for open fires and boasts a high heat output with a low ash content.

Triple heat is our own blend of coal, doubles and lignite. It is suitable for open fires and gives off a high heat output with a medium ash content.

Lignite is peat compressed into a nugget. Also known as brown coal or union nuggets, Lignite will burn at a medium heat and will then melt into a fine ash

Also known as wondercoal, Large Calco is a smokeless coal for an open fire. This will burn at a very high heat and leave a very low ash content. Not suitable for closed fires.

Also known as wondercoal, Small Calco is a smokeless coal for an open fire. It is smaller pieces of the large calco that will burn at a very high heat and leave a very low ash content. Not suitable for closed fires.

Anthracite Esse is smaller pieces of the highest grade of Anthracite we supply. It is suitable for closed fires. It will give out a long continuous heat and leave a low ash content.

Ecobrite Egg is a manufactured smokeless egg suitable for a closed fire. It will give out a constant heat for a long period of time with a low ash content. It is the quickest anthracite to light up which is ideal for evening burning.

Rough Slack is fine pieces of coal that is used to giving a longer burning experience to an open fire. It is ideal for a fire that has poor draft control.

Fine Slack is very fine pieces of coal that is used to giving a longer burning experience to an open fire. It is ideal if you want to bank up your fire overnight.

This Cast iron black finish fire grate dog basket is suitable for a square type fire opening. It is a free standing grate and can be used on its own without a fire front.

This Lombard fire grate is a rounded grate on four legs and made from cast iron. The front is less curved than the standard Round Bow grates and the legs are higher.

This is an additional bar that sits on top to allow you to build up your fire. This bar keeps the fire safer as coal is less likely to fall out if unattended.

This is an optional bar for the 24b grate. It is very beneficial especially when the front/fret of the fire is not high. This fits into the grate and allows for a deeper fire while making it much safer.

The 24B Grate is a four legged fire grate and is made from cast iron. It has two holes at the front to take an optional bar which can prove very beneficial in making a higher fire and keeping the fuel in, making it much safer.

A flat fire grate with two legs at the rear to suit regal fireplaces. The regal fire grate has been constructed from cast iron to endure use throughout the winter months.

This Joyce fire grate is free standing with 4 legs and a flat top surface. The Joyce fire grate features two slots in the front for a coal saver to fit into, to stop fuel falling during use. The curved front of this fire grate fits perfectly into the Joyce fire fret.

The Classic Guardette is a cast iron fire grate with a raised front that has been shaped to suit the Classic fire front. The raised front helps to keep coal and other fuel on the fire basket ensuring they burn efficiently during use. We also keep stock of the ash pan to suit.

The Primrose Fern fire grate has a lipped front and has been made to hold coal and other fuels on the fire effectively. It is a 16" fire grate with 3 legs that has been constructed from cast iron.

The Dunsley Firefly is a flat fire grate with no legs. Constructed from cast iron the Dunsley Firefly has been made with a small lipped front to save the coal and other fuel from falling off the front.

The Ofco fire grate is to suit 16" fireplaces. This quality cast iron fire grate is free standing on 4 legs with a raised round front to prevent coals from falling off the front of the fire stool. It is not as deep, from back to front as the standard Round Bow/Heavy duty grates.

Also known as a Bottom Grate, the Queenstar fire grate is a flat top grate that sits on two legs. The Queenstar has been constructed from cast iron to suit solid fuel fireplaces. We also keep A flat version of the grate with no legs and the ash pan to suit.

The Dunsley Enterprise is a heavy duty, cast iron, flat fire grate designed with no legs and a raised lip at the front to hold fuel on the fire during use.

This fire grate has been manufactured from cast iron and features 2 legs at the rear. Suitable for coal, logs and other solid fuels.

The Shamrock Gerkros fire grate is a flat fire grate with no legs. Made from cast iron this fire grate is robust and will last throughout the cold winter months.

The Queen 51 is a heavy weight 16" fireplace grate which has been manufactured from a sturdy cast iron. This Queen 51 is a flat fire grate and has two rear legs.

The AL fire grate is a flat, free standing fire stool on 4 legs complete with a bolt on coal saver to stop coal or other fuel from falling off the front of your fire.

The Daisy 14" Fire Grate is suitable for burning coal, logs or other solid fuels. This excellent quality fire grate has been constructed from cast iron and features 3 legs, 2 at the front and 1 at the rear. The front of the Daisy Fire Grate features a curved lip to hold coals and other fuels on the fire as they burn.
