This "N type" solid fuel fire fret in a matte black finish is designed specifically for your solid fuel fire but can also be used for a gas fire to give it a more traditional look. The loop to the front of the fret controls an air slider which can limit or increase the amount of air intake to your solid fuel fire. There are very few gaps on this fret which is a great benefit. You can close the slider when you want to cool your fire down and open it fully when you want your fire to roar and radiate heat into the room. It is a heavy fret and would be an alternative to an all-night burner.
